Responding to the Surgeon's Needs
A successful operation requires a team of people who can anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgeon. This is especially true of surgical assistants, who serve as a liaison to staff and a second pair of hands for the surgeon.
SASA fosters successful relationships between surgeons and surgical assistants by providing the same selected surgical assistants each time. SASA surgical assistants have a partnership with their selected surgeons, but also provide a previously trained back-up of selected surgical assistants during times when the primary assistant is unavailable. SASA understand the relationship between the surgeon and the surgical assistant, providing surgical assistants who possess in-depth knowledge of each surgeon they work with.
